Berths are available to be booked on an individual basis, come along alone or with a friend or partner and meet other adventurous people.
Our adventures take place aboard our yacht 'Velvet Lady', a 55 foot sailing yacht built by Oyster of Ipswich. With a maximum of 6 guests and 2 crew aboard, there is plenty of room and we can ensure you are well looked after.
All our holidays are skippered by round the world yachtswoman Lin Parker, who has 20 years experience as a professional yacht skipper and is well accomplished at both introducing the new comer and coaching the more experienced.
We sail year round and migrate with the birds to follow the weather systems. During the autumn we cruise down the coasts of Spain and Portugal, and on to the Canary Islands via Madeira. We spend Christmas, New Year, and early spring in the Canary Islands. From March we start heading north via Madeira and the Azores back to the UK before we head North to Norway, where we spend the summer exploring the spectacular Lofoten Islands.
This cruising circuit offers a mixture of different yacht cruising holidays. These vary from relaxed day sailing, island hopping, long distance coastal cruises, blue water ocean tasters and true ocean passage making.
Our idea of cruising is to combine a great days sailing with enough time to relax and explore the places we visit. Join us on our adventures to interesting destinations not on the usual yachting calendar and therefore less touristy. We do not just sail from marina to marina and often anchor in secluded bays, or tie up in working fishing ports.
