| Carbon fibre folding gangway |
All our products are made with pre-preg fabrics and epoxy resins. These are cured in an autoclave at high pressure (7 bar) and temperature (120 C) and are built in one piece with a perfect finish without any sanding, filling or polishing.
Our gangways use nomex honeycomb, biaxial and unidirectional fabrics. As a result of this construction and computer aided design, the carbon gangway 216 cm of length can bear vertical loads in excess of 350 kg, while weighing 4.3 kg only (structure weight). The gangway 285 can always bear vertical loads in excess of 350 kg and its structure weighs only 6.9 kg.
Our sailing yacht steering wheels are made with a proprietary technology (International Patent pending PCT/IT2005/000315), in one hollow monocoque carbon fibre structure, with no glue join lines or weak joints. This makes the products extremely light and strong.

Check our exclusive range of custom finishings.
The name of the boat lets you see the carbon fibre below the non-slip tread surface. You can add colours and custom graphics.
The name can even be inlaid with Wenge wood into a teak tread surface.
All graphics are digitally transfered on our gangways.
Our stanchions and lines are installed on light alloy special made fittings.
All metal components are either Stainless Steel or Aluminium Alloy treated with hard anodising for durability and corrosion protection.

Exit Engineering carbon wheels are built in one piece, becoming an immensely light and strong monocoque structure: no weak joints nor secondary bondings.
The wheels are supplied with the suitable hub for any steering brand, built with aluminum alloy and protected with hard anodising against corrosion and wear.
It's easy to install like any other metallic wheel.
All Exit Engineering's carbon steering wheels are CE certified (Notified Body n.614 ECB, The Netherlands).
