Review of Secumar Bolero 275 Harness Safety Equipment by Yachting Monthly Jul 2010
Secumar Bolero 275 Harness

The vogue for high-buoyancy lifejackets shows no sign of sinking. Now Secumar has released a new lifejacket with 280N of buoyancy, which is more compact and sculpted for greater comfort.

Secumars signature 4001S firing mechanism, whose status is visible through a window, means it can be converted from automatic to manual in about 40 seconds. We also like the seat-belt-style buckle.

It conforms to regulations for 275N, with a sprayhood, crotch strap and safety light as standard.

Verdict: A new lifejacket with 280N of buoyancy, which is more compact and sculpted for greater comfort.
