Nestaway Traditional Tender
If you prefer rigid tenders to inflatables, but have limited stowage, then either a folding or a sectional dinghy is probably the answer. The Nestaway Traditional Tender is an 8ft 8in (2.6m) dinghy that splits in two and can be stored in a space 5 x 4ft (1.5 x 1.2m) with the two parts nested inside each other. Its small enough to store on the foredeck of yachts as small as 31ft (9.5m).
Flat-bottomed with handles on the keel and bilge runners, she weighs under 39kg and will easily ferry two people plus some luggage and a 2hp outboard. Made of epoxy-sheathed mahogany with stainless steel metalwork, this beautifully-crafted little vessel can be fitted with a sprit sail as well.

Verdict: A beautifully crafted foldable boat - can be rowed, motored or sailed.
