This is the third edition of this guide, first published more than 40 years ago. With the overall increase in disposable wealth and cheap flights since then, it must surely be more pertinent than ever.
The book contains important words and phrases into 10 languages: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Danish, Turkish and Greek. More than 3,000 words are arranged into sections like
medical emergencies, at sea and in the boatyard. The only thing lacking is a pronunciation guide.
Nevertheless, its been of use even in the CB office. SHMH
