Adlard Coles Book of Anchoring
Anchoring somewhere secluded is one of the delights of boatownership, but no other subject is so hotly debated than anchoring equipment and techniques.
As such it should come as no surprise that a whole book has been published on the subject, the Adlard Coles Book of Anchoring.
Although all the pictures contained within seem to feature boats with big white flappy sails, it is sure to contain lots of useful information for the average motorboater.
It may even help you break free from the shackles of the marina and spend an idyllic night on the hook. If it achieves this just once it will have more than paid for itself.

Verdict: If this book encourages you to break free from the shackles of the marina and spend an idyllic night on the hook just once, it will have more than paid for itself
